The Black Salt is fully compliant with ADA regulations in so much that our building is over 100 years old and not structurally capable of modern modifications. We are an inclusive space for all who want to visit, however, we are limited to the ways we can provide service and access to wheelchair bound guests.

Weather permitting, we are able to open the back gate to our patio for wheelchair bound guests to receive table service. Our service is walk up only, however, permitting that a bartender is available, we can provide table service outside.

We do not have a wheelchair accessible bathroom.

Under occupancy and building permits from the City of Hamtramck, we are in compliance with all codes for operation and have passed ADA compliance inspection.
